Proms start this month, March. However, next month is the busiest month for Proms this year. April 30th there will be more than 20 Proms in Phoenix. All on the same day! If this is your Prom date, please book early.
How many party buses will be needed to accommodate all these Prom goers? At Mirage Limousines we have more party buses for Prom than anyone else. But we surely don’t have enough party buses to handle everyone who is going to need one for Prom on April 30th.
Mirage Limousines has more party buses than anyone in the Phoenix metro area. One of our party buses can hold up to 65 people. Yet, if we rolled out every luxury vehicle we have, filled to capacity, Mirage Limousines could not get one whole high school to Prom, let alone twenty or more high schools on the same night.
So, as much as we would love to help everyone, we just can’t. Its up to you to get on your computer, get on your phone. Start checking out party buses and service providers. Swing by their office, if they have one. Insist on seeing your party bus before you pay.
The busiest Prom Saturday this year will be Saturday, April 30th. On that day there will be 20+ Proms. These Proms include high schools like: Apollo, Barry Goldwater, Centennial, Central, Chaparral, Desert Ridge, Horizon, Marcos De Niza, McClintock, Mesa, Mountain View and more.
If Saturday April 30th is your Prom day then you will have a lot of competition for party buses on that day. The early bird gets the worm, as they say. So be that early bird and get your party bus (worm) before they are all gone. Chances are good that all of our party buses will be booked on that day. Hope you get yours.
There are ten or more Proms on each of the following Saturdays: April 9th, April 16th and April 23rd. Peoria you are on April 9th with Bourgade and Cesar Chavez and more. Then Chandler, Ironwood, Moon Valley, Sunnyslope and more are all on April 16th. April 23rd will be Buckeye, Coronado, Dysart, St Mary’s and more.
The above four Saturdays are the busiest for Prom this year. If you have a Prom on one of these four Saturdays then you better get busy. That is if you don’t already have your Prom party bus booked.
Prom used to be a romantic event. Girls waited longingly for the boy of their dreams to ask them to Prom. If you didn’t get asked, you didn’t go. Honestly. And not that long ago.
Times have changed. Prom doesn’t have to be a romantic night enjoyed only by couples anymore. Lots of Prom goers travel with a group of friends.
Girls go to Prom with other girls and guys have been known to travel to Prom together as well.
Does this sound like you? Are you that type of modern individual? Do you plan on enjoying your Prom in a group instead of as a romantic twosome or double date? Well then, a Prom party bus may be just what you need.
In the past, the boy paid for a limo for himself and his date. That may still be the case in many situations. But nowadays the new option is for everyone to pitch in on the transportation.
This means your options for luxury transportation can be greatly expanded. You would never consider booking a party bus for only two people or for four people. Our smallest bus is for 25. So if you expand your group of compadres from two or four to say ten or more, now a party bus becomes a viable option, and a little exciting!
Also, in the past girls waited to be asked to Prom. Nowadays no one waits to be asked. Girls these days are perfectly content going to Prom in a group. So get out there! Round up your friends. Enjoy a Prom party bus Phoenix.
Expense is always a concern at Prom. There are just so many things to buy. This article, from an Alabama newspaper, lays out a list of the many things you will need to pay for before the night is over. Some things on the list include: flowers, dinner, and tickets. The prices are Alabama prices and could be different in Arizona.
This next article is from a more national perspective. It too lists the many things you will need for Prom and a range of prices you may be expected to pay.
Then before you know it you’re tapped out.
Don’t let this happen to you. Renting a party bus is a great way to save a little money at Prom. Don’t just rent a luxury vehicle for you and your date. Get a party bus and divide the cost of transportation between ten couples, or more.
Move over Prom limo. Make room for Prom party bus!
Limousines have been the most popular choice in luxury transpo for Prom from, well, forever. Prom goers have been showing up in limos ever since there was Prom. Many Prom goers use a car service and arrive to Prom in a regular sized Escalade or Mercedes.
Hummer Limo w/Prom Goers
But party buses are the latest thing in luxury transportation these days. They are so new there is confusion as to what to call them. So party buses go by many different names. In this post you’ll see them called “limo buses”, “limousine buses”, “party buses” and more.
Mirage Limousines provides limousines and car service. But party buses are what separates Mirage Limousines from every other limo company in Arizona. We have party buses of every size, more than anyone else.
The cost for these party buses is minimal when it is divided up by all the passengers.
Here at Mirage Limousines we have four party buses available for Prom. Our smallest holds up to 25 people. Our largest one can accommodate up to 65 people.
These party buses have room for walking around, or dancing. There are dance poles to hold onto so you don’t fall. These dance poles can also be used to show off mad dancing skills. But that is up to you.
The sound systems on these buses are so loud that people will hear you coming from miles away! Plug your phone into the sound system and enjoy whatever type of music you like. Your favorite tunes have never sounded better.
The buses have mesmerizing light displays. The insides have mirrors and crystal that sparkle and reflect the lights around the bus. Laser lights twinkle on the seats and the ceiling.
You and your friends will be in your own traveling nightclub. So if you are considering a Prom party bus Phoenix, then you have come to the right place.
Mirage Limousines has many party buses available for Prom. Disco lights, booming stereos, laser lights and more make each of them a party on wheels.
Your Prom party bus could be the Super bus. It will hold 65 of your friends. This Super bus is the largest party bus in Arizona. The center of the Super bus is “articulated”, or made to bend. That’s how large it is!
Mirage Limousines’ Super Bus Video
Or choose from one of Mirage Limousines’ smaller party buses. You have your choice of several different limousine buses.
The next Prom party bus available for you on Prom will hold 45 passengers. We call it the Big bus because for a long time it was the Big bus around here. Now of course it’s not the biggest around here anymore. But the name has stuck.
No one pays attention to the details like we do. Our vehicles are meticulously maintained by our in house detail staff. Our in house mechanics go over every mechanical detail with a fine tooth comb.
We house our vehicles at our showroom on Scottsdale Rd. No one else can say that. We go that extra mile so that you can feel comfortable in your decision to rent from us.
What to Expect from Your Prom Party Bus
Your Prom party bus will be sparkling clean and in top working order. Your driver will be an experienced, licensed professional.
The inside of a party bus will light up like a discotheque if that’s what you want. The floors light up as do the ceilings. There’s also a laser light show that puts a twinkle on the seats and windows and walls.
The stereo system will be so booming that people down the street will hear you coming. The booming bass coming from this stereo is so powerful that you will feel it in your chest.
The music will make your feet want to move. You might need to step aside. Someone in your party may want to use the dance pole. Yes, every party bus comes with a least on dance pole.
Imagine, you and your friends celebrating the time of your lives. Making memories, the stuff that, when added up, make a life.
We invite you to come see your Prom party bus. Prom transportation is a major expense. You should always see what you are paying for before you pay. Sadly, there are many unscrupulous people out there who will gladly take your money and leave you stranded.
Mirage Limousines is one of the rare limo/party bus companies that has a showroom. All of our vehicles are available to be viewed by the public at our showroom on Scottsdale Rd.
Wherever you rent you luxury transportation, see it before you book it. Sadly, there are unscrupulous individuals who will rent a car they do not have. Or offer a car you will never see. One year, several girls here in Arizona rented a party bus from Pennsylvania. No Pennsylvania company can run a party bus in Arizona, not without AZ plates. So, in the end, they got no party bus and they were out the $500 deposit. We know because they came to us in a panic. Don’t let this happen to you. Thankfully we could accommodate them. Happy ending. Whew!
See it before you book it! Its a major expense. You wouldn’t buy a house with out seeing it, or a refrigerator or anything else that is a major expense without seeing it. Don’t be fooled by some sweet talking salesman. See your Prom party bus before you sign anything or pay anything.
See it before you book it!
Mirage Limousines: 813 N Scottsdale Rd Scottsdale, AZ 85257
Mirage Limousines was started in 1982 in Tempe, Arizona. At that time we only had one limo. We ran the business out of a home, as do many limo companies.
Over the years we have added limos, fancy cars and party buses. We are now the oldest and largest limo/party bus company in Arizona.
We recently added a Cadillac XTS limo to our fleet. This stretch limo has the added convenience of a fifth door.
Also we recently added our Super bus. This humongous party bus will seat 65 people! It is 70 feet long.
Since those early days we have moved from our home office into a fabulous showroom on Scottsdale Rd. This move makes Mirage Limousines more transparent to the public. We are pleased to be able to display our vehicles at our showroom in Scottsdale. Please swing by and say hello.
The CFP National Championship will be held in Glendale, AZ Monday, Jan. 11, 2016. We are excited to be hosting such an important game.
Mirage Limousines has some of the best party buses in the state. Tailgating in a party bus is an amazing experience that you just have to try for yourself. Our largest party bus will hold up to 65 people. Imagine celebrating the CFP National Championship with 64 of your closest friends.
More about that later. This blog recaps the bowl games and gives you an idea of what to expect from the upcoming championship game.
The teams for the championship games have been decided. Playoff games were held on New Year’s Eve.
Clemson crushed Oklahoma and Alabama beat up Michigan State. Sadly the Cotton Bowl, with Alabama and Michigan State, was a blow out. Those are never fun to watch, unless your team is winning. However that does not necessarily reflect on the championship. Clemson is not expected to fold like Michigan State did in their bowl game.
With the play offs as any indicator, the championship game is going to be exciting. The bowl games were both high scoring games, both of the winning teams scored numerous times in their playoff bouts. Expect a championship filled with continuous drives for the goal.
Alabama is favored but Clemson’s not out of it yet. Take a look at some of the bowl game highlights. If they are any indication this CFP National Championship is going to rock!
The Orange Bowl pitted No. 1 Clemson against No. 4 Oklahoma. Clemson won it 37-17 turning in a performance that dominated on both sides of the ball.
Although Clemson was trailing 17-16 at halftime, the Tigers outscored Oklahoma 21-0 in the second half. The Sooners only rushed for 67 yards, or 2.03 yards on average. The Sooners also spent much of the second half limping off or being helped off the field.
The players to watch in the upcoming championship include Clemson’s quarterback, Deshaun Watson, running back Wayne Gallman and defensive end Shaq Lawson.
Watson, a Heisman nominee this year, was responsible for some big plays in the Orange Bowl. Although he was not precise, his running and passing proved too much for Oklahoma.
Sophomore running back Wayne Gallman made a fine showing at the Orange Bowl. Expect more of the same during the championship game. His running played a part in wearing Oklahoma down.
Clemson All-American defensive end Shaq Lawson was missing from the Orange Bowl after suffering a left knee injury in the Tigers’ semifinal win over Oklahoma. He is expected to play in the College Football Playoff National Championship and is weapon to be watched.
Keep an eye out for a little trickery. Clemson Tigers punter AndyTeasdall is gaining quite a reputation for faking punts. It didn’t go so well against North Carolina in the ACC Championship. Coming up short he gave North Carolina the opportunity to pull ahead. He also opened his self up to a calling out on camera from Clemson coach Dabo Swinney that has since gone viral.
However, Teasdall was able to redeem himself at the Orange Bowl. Early in the second quarter, on fourth-and-4 from the Oklahoma 44, the Tigers faked a punt. This time the fake punt worked and Teasdall is a hero.
If all that does not make you want to watch this championship game then read on. We haven’t even discussed the CFP National Championship’s favored team, Alabama.
Clemson will face Alabama, the winner of the Cotton Bowl semifinal, at the CFP National Championship on Jan. 11 in Glendale, Ariz.
The Cotton Bowl was a contest between No. 2 seed Alabama and No. 3 seed Michigan State. Alabama won 38-0.
If the championship is anything like the Cotton Bowl, Alabama quarterback, Jake Coker, will be exciting to watch. For his Cotton Bowl performance he completed 25 of 30 passes. He threw for 286 yards and for two touchdowns.
Coker and his receiver Calvin Ridley practically created their own highlight reel at the Cotton Bowl. Responsible for a couple of amazingly long plays. One of which that may be considered the best touchdown catch of the season was counted thanks to an overturned review.
This Alabama team promises excitement. If the Coker-Ridley connection remains strong then Alabama’s offense will be terrifying in the championship game. This Alabama offense was unstoppable in the Cotton Bowl, even against a very good defense.
The Crimson Tide also tallied four sacks in the Cotton Bowl. They bullied Michigan State’s quarterback and offensive line. They set the tone up front, exactly what they’ve done to opponents all year.
Expect more of the same as Alabama takes on Clemson at the CFP National Championship on Jan. 11 in Glendale, Ariz.
Alabama-Clemson CFP National Championship Predictions
Alabama is favored but Clemson’s not out of it yet. Consider these tantalizing items.
Clemson’s head coach Dabo Swinney said he used Alabama as a template when developing his own defensive line. Coincidentally Alabama is Swinney’s alma mater. Having earned a football scholarship to Alabama, he played when Alabama was the 1992 national champions. He also earned a degree in commerce and business administration. That said, Swinney has the experience to dissect the Alabama team. Just what Clemson needs.
Plus, Tigers quarterback and Heisman Trophy finalist Deshaun Watson is a great talent with big-play tendencies. Just the type of quarterback that has been beating Alabama in recent years. Watson is more than capable of putting points on the board in the passing game, should Alabama shut down Clemson’s rushing attack.
So don’t call this game over before it has even begun. Instead, brace yourself for the game of the year!
Trust Mirage to have the most beautiful party buses. We have many to choose from in different sizes. Our party buses are larger than our limos. So if you have a large crew, this is the vehicle for you.
In a party bus you and your guests can stand up. It may be hard to sit in all the excitement. Even if your crew is not that large, you may still want a party bus. They have dance poles and dance floors.
The audio system is stunning and the light show is over the top. No one goes to the expense Mirage Limousines does to create the perfect luxury transportation experience. See them all here.
No one will take care of you like we will. From the moment you enter the showroom to the moment we deliver you back to your home.
Our in-house staff is right now preparing your vehicle. It is being polished and tuned. Every light bulb is checked, every crystal champagne flute shined. We have in-house mechanics and detailers. Swing by the showroom and you will see them hard at work.
Mirage Limousines has gone to the extra expense of opening a showroom on Scottsdale Rd just so that you can come and see your vehicle before you rent it.
No other Limousine Service/Party Bus Rental company can say that, no one.
Phoenix is hosting three huge college football games this season. We were lucky enough to get the CFP National Championship. That in itself is a big win.
BattleFrogFiesta Bowl is an amazing line up. Ohio State and Notre Dame. Can you say epic rematch?
And let’s not forget the Cactus Bowl. Home town fans can enjoy their boys being celebrated on national TV. Go Sun Devils!
Mirage Limousines wants to be your source for things to do in Phoenix. And baby, this is the thing to do in Phoenix this holiday season. Hands down.
This post is jam packed with everything Fiesta Bowl. Plus a little bit more about the CFP National Championship and the Cactus Bowl. If you already read this previous blog post, then you know a great deal about the CFP National Championship festivities that Phoenix has planned.
There will be three major college football games played in Phoenix this holiday season:
CFP National Championship
BattleFrog Fiesta Bowl
Motel 6 Cactus Bowl
The CFP National Championship teams will be decided New Year’s Eve. The two bowl games that decide the championship teams will be played New Year’s Eve. Yes, New Year’s Eve, NOT New Year’s Day as is typical. Plan accordingly.
The Motel 6 Cactus Bowl will be held at Chase Field. Yes at the baseball stadium. It plans to be a spectacular game even if it is not part of the play offs this year. The match up is between Arizona State and West Virginia. Go Sun Devils!
Chase Field parking lots owned and/or operated by the Cactus Bowl do not permit tailgating. The tailgating policy of the surrounding independently owned lots is at the discretion of the owner. No further information is available. We regret the inconvenience.
For more information about attending the Cactus Bowl visit:
Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Ohio State Buckeyes have won the honors of participating in this season’s BattleFrog Fiesta Bowl.
It is a rematch of the 2006 Fiesta Bowl which Ohio State won 34-20. Ohio State enters the game as heavy favorites, but many of Notre Dame’s strengths appear to match up well against the Buckeyes.
The defending national champs are apparently disappointed about playing in the Fiesta Bowl. (Boo! Hiss!) That being said, it is still has the potential to be an amazing game.
Controversy swirls as Tim May, of the Columbus Dispatch, notes that Ohio State senior defensive lineman Adolphus Washington has been suspended for the Fiesta Bowl. He was recently charged with a first-degree misdemeanor. No Buckeyes lineman pressured the quarterback more than Washington this season.
In Washington’s absence, all eyes will be on the star of Ohio State’s defense, Joey Bosa. Normally lining up on the left, this will match him up against Notre Dame right tackle Mike McGlinche. Scouts are hoping to see Bosa versus Ronnie Stanley since both prospects are potential top-10 picks in next year’s NFL draft.
It will be just the sixth meeting between the schools, with Ohio State winning the last three. The Irish last took down the Buckeyes in 1936.
Both have an interesting and entertaining perspective on the topic.
Campus Insider Fiesta Bowl Predictions
Campus Insiders takes you deep inside college sports. A platform that broadcasts the games, covers the events, provides the highlights, and tells the stories of college sports.
Honest enough to admit that their programming will be lively, provocative, and even include controversial debates tied to the issues of the day in college sports. Who doesn’t love a little controversy?
“Our embedded Insiders will…not only report on the Xs and Os [but also what’s] happening in the locker rooms and on the fields of play… it’s time for all of us to mix it up the same way we all have done at our tailgates throughout our lives.”
McCrystal assures us that the Buckeye’s coach, Urban Meyer, will not let his team disappoint the fans. He has an impressive 8-2 record in bowl games.
The Buckeyes are a little disappointed and many of them are headed to the NFL in April. Taken together, the underdog would normally fare well in this scenario. However, McCrystal is going with the bookies in predicting a Buckeye win. Prediction: Ohio State 38, Notre Dame 21

Its hard to imagine homecoming being any more fun than it is. But imagine the fun of arriving at the Homecoming dance in a party bus filled with your best buds.
Homecoming differs from prom in many ways. First, Homecoming is less formal than prom. Then there’s the fact that Homecoming is at the beginning of the school year. Whereas, prom is at the end.
Homecoming is the start of something. Prom is the end.
What is Homecoming?
A football game is at the center of Homecoming. Events are planned around this big game. These events can include spirit weeks and pep rallies, parades, speeches and of course a Homecoming dance. The events are all intended to unite alumni and students to create a stronger sense of school pride. Typically they are wildly successful.
It may seem hard to believe but Homecoming only started in the early 1900’s. Amazingly there is even a competition for the title of “Birthplace of Homecoming.”
The University of Illinois used to claim the title of first. They had had an event with football and alumni in 1910. But after further review they had to change that claim. Now they only say they have the longest running Homecoming celebration.
The University of Missouri-Columbia , or Mizzou, is actually the trivia question winner. They started celebrating homecoming in 1911. Although they weren’t really the first, if you ask Jeopardy! or Trivial Pursuit, they say Mizzou was first. Perhaps its because they were the most vocal about their 1911 Homecoming event. This Mizzou Homecoming event has, in fact, been repeated ever since.
But the honor actually goes to Baylor University, a private school in Waco, Texas. They invited alumni home for a football game in 1909. But they didn’t call it Homecoming. They called it Good Will Week. They also did not repeat the event for several years. This and the smallness of the school may have all played a part in Baylor not being credited with this honor.
Homecoming is a time to cut loose. Its filled with the excitement of the beginning of the school year. Beginnings offer opportunities. There is the mystery of what the following school year has in store. And everyone loves a mystery, right?
Homecoming fashions are less formal than prom. Girls wear cocktail dresses instead of a formal gown. Cocktail dresses are commonly shorter in length.
Boys still wear a shirt and tie to Homecoming, much like prom. At prom a boy wears a suit. But suits are not a necessity for Homecoming. Boys may, or may not wear a suit coat.
Students may attend the Homecoming dance with a date. But more often boys and girls travel to the dance as just friends. This is an important distinction.
On a date, boys are still responsible for most of the costs. These can include the cost of dinner, the ticket price and transportation. Homecoming may also include flowers. Some schools have a tradition of mums and garters.
This is a huge tradition in Texas. Girls wear a mum to the Homecoming dance, boys wear a garter.
The bigger the better as is true of everything in Texas. It is a sign of love to have a large “mum.” Mums are worn on the chest, perhaps hung around the girls neck.
Mums can include ribbons and flowers, usually silk flowers. Garters are worn on the boys arm and will include ribbons as well.
Traveling to the Homecoming dance as “just friends” means the girl should be prepared to split the costs of the event. Clarifying this distinction before-hand is important. Just in case, girls, you should always be prepared with a little stash of cash.
Its common for students to just travel in groups to Homecoming. Often girls, or boys, will travel together in a pack. This is quite different than prom where students travel to prom together as groups of couples.
The smallest Homecoming party bus that Mirage Limousines has will hold up to 25 people. This does not mean you have to have 25 people. In fact, 25 is the limit. So you may want fewer than 25 just so you and your friends can spread out and enjoy yourselves.
Party buses are made for partying. With dance poles and laser lights you will feel like you are at a nightclub.
Dance to your favorite music as you drive down the rode. Spin and twirl in the sparkling lights. You definitely are going to need some room to cut loose. So plan on booking a bus that is a little bigger than you absolutely need.
The largest Homecoming party bus at Mirage Limousines is a seventy footer. Yes that’s right, seventy feet long!
This Homecoming party bus holds up to 65 people.
It is the largest party bus in the state.
This 70 footer, is so long it has to be articulated, or made to bend, in the middle.
No one in Arizona has a bigger Homecoming party bus!
In between we have a Homecoming limousine/party buses for up to 35 people and one for up to 45 passengers.
Each Homecoming party bus comes equipped with:
State-of-the-art sound systems
Mind bending fiber optic lighting and laser lites
Crystal and mirrors sparkling everywhere
We spare no expense on all our vehicles. In order to get a complete idea of what you’ll be renting, you really need to come to our showroom in Scottsdale (813 N Scottsdale Rd). There you will see all of our limousines and party buses. Plan to be amazed.
No matter who you rent from, see it before you book it. Anyone can say they have a party bus. But can they prove it?
Follows these simple steps to have the best Homecoming party bus experience.
First you need to know how many people you want in your party bus. Party buses come in different sizes and part of the cost of your Homecoming arty bus will be based on size.
Next, where will you be picked up and where are you going? Most party bus companies have a service area. If you need to go outside of that service area you may have to pay extra.
How long will you need your Homecoming party bus? Expect that the party bus company will have a set minimum. So plan on at least paying for this minimum number of hours which can vary from between 3 and 6 hours.
Finally, find out where you need to go to see your party bus. DO NOT RENT WITHOUT SEEING IT FIRST! Pictures on the Internet are not enough.
If you follow these simple steps you are sure to have pleasant Homecoming party bus rental experience.
