What is a Party Bus?
A party bus may sometimes be called a limousine bus, or limo bus or even a limo party bus. It may seem odd that there isn’t one word or phrase for this type of luxury transportation. But its easy to see how this happened.
The term “party bus” only came about in the past decade or so. Limousine providers wanted to provide luxury transportation accommodations to larger and larger groups of people. So they began modifying existing buses or having manufacturers create new buses with a whole list of accommodations that were new to the bus industry. These improvements were not new to the limousine industry however, since limousines have had many of these types of improvements for years.
A name was needed for these new luxury buses. So since they came out of the limousine industry they have acquired the title, “limo bus.” But apparently that just would not suffice. A new name was needed. Hence the term “party bus” was coined. Which fits perfectly because these buses are made for a party. Wikipedia refers to this topic briefly but only briefly. Standing in a Party Bus
Party buses are made for walking around. More than just walking around, they are made for dancing in the aisles! First, the seats don’t face forward in rows like on a regular bus. Instead these seats wrap around the inside of the bus. This leaves a big wide aisle for dancing and visiting and just generally being up out of your seat.
Dancing in a Party Bus
Mirage Limousines’ party buses come with state of the art sound systems. Made to play a CD or for an iPhone hook up. You can play your favorite songs on this bus. A regular bus might have a PA system, but your favorite songs are probably not welcome there.
Being Mesmerized in a Party Bus
Party buses from Mirage Limousines come with huge TV’s. So if you’d rather watch a video than listen to music, we have you covered. Some charter buses may have TV’s but they definitely don’t have a 50″ one (or greater.)
Mirage Limousines party buses are decked out with mirrors and fiber optic lighting. There are laser lights. Floors and ceilings change color. Bubble lamps flank passageways.
Not Your Regular Bus
If you have taken public transportation then you have been on a regular bus. In school maybe you took a field trip on a regular bus. Or maybe you’ve enjoyed a Las Vegas turn-around on a regular bus. That was not a party bus.
The Right Size for You
At Mirage Limousines we have party buses of all sizes. Our smallest is made for up to 25 people. There’s one for 35, 45, 55 and one for 65 people.
